Elect Conservative Republican Tom Jones for Sheriff of Union County in 2024

About Tom Jones

My name is Tom Jones and I am running for Sheriff in Union County, Georgia in 2024.

My father was a veteran of the Second World War and became a police officer in Cincinnati, Ohio when he returned from the war. As a child he passed on to me his passions for fishing, hunting, football, and protecting and serving our communities through law enforcement.

My Experience

My experience is long and vast. At the age of 18 I became the youngest correctional officer ever hired by the Florida Department of Corrections. At 20, I became the youngest Deputy Sheriff ever to work in the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

I have worked as a deputy, Correctional Officer, Presidential Protection Task Force Member, SWAT Team member, under-cover narcotics Special Agent, Detective in the Organized Crime Section, and even as the Chief Investigator for a large private investigative firm. (In my first year as Chief Investigator, I saved the firm over $110,000  while overseeing 40 investigators in multiple states!)

Through a lifetime of experience I have worked hand in hand with numerous agencies such as the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, F.B.I, Secret Service, and the D.E.A.

Why I am Running for Sheriff of Union County

At the end of the day, my fundamental passion is law enforcement and serving my community. I love catching bad guys and keeping families safe. I hate drug dealers and the havoc they continue to wreak upon on small, peace loving communities like ours.

I fell in love with Union County over twenty years ago and am ready to serve and protect my neighbors and their families. I want to offer my lifetime of experience to keep Union County safe from crime while protecting its small town charm.

It’s time for a change, and as your next Sheriff, I am ready to be that change.
